Spring Break is finally here! Our trip started off with a trip to the oldest working plantation in the United States, Boone Hall Plantation. The plantation had so much history in the house with the original antique furnishings and the famous avenue of oaks (my favorite)! You may recognize the avenue of oaks and the plantation house from the movie "The Notebook" and the setting for Blake Lively and Ryan Renolds' wedding! This was a great day trip if you are in Charleston!
