Liebester Award
The other day I was nominated by the lovely Jessica of Belle Adore for the Liebester Award! I had never heard of the award until this week, when I read about numerous other bloggers being nominated and nominating others. This award is basically just a way for new bloggers, such as myself, to get their names out there. The rules are pretty simple: share 11 facts about yourself, answer the 11 questions developed by the blogger who nominated you, and then nominate a few other bloggers!

1. I am 16 years old
2. I live in North Carolina
3. I am a self diagnosed shopaholic

1. What inspired you to write a blog?
- For the longest time I had wanted to have a place to share my outfits, and years before this I actually had multiple failed attempts at having a blog, but earlier this year I decided I would actually put effort into this one!
2. What is your favorite blog?
- I love reading The College Prepster each day. I love Carly's writing style and how much thought she puts into each post, not to mention reading about all the fabulous places she goes and things she does in NYC!
3. What is your go-to outfit?
- This summer I have constantly found myself wearing a red and white striped tee with J. Crew Factory pull on shorts and my jacks. It is so comfy and is perfect for everything- from running errands to dinner with my family!
4. What is your favorite store?
- Definitely J. Crew! Roughly 99% of my wardrobe is from there and everything is so classic and versatile- not to mention their amazing sales!!
5. What is your favorite thing to do with your friends?
- Go shopping or get ice cream!
6. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
- I would definitely either go to New York City or somewhere in Europe! I have never been to New York or traveled out of the country, and they are both places I would really like to go to!
7. What is your favorite TV show?
- Full House will always be a fave, however right now I am hooked on One Tree Hill. I would definitely recommend it if you liked Gossip Girl or 90210!
8. Favorite type of candy?
- Heath bars or milk chocolate!
9. What is the most used item in your closet?
- During the summer, my most used item has been my striped J. Crew tee because it is so easy to use when mixing patterns and looks great with solid colors, too.
10. What is your typical order at Starbucks?
- I'm not the avid Starbucks drinker, (I know crazy for a typical white girl such as myself) but I recently tried a blended passion the lemonade and it is a great summer drink!
11. What is your favorite quote?
