NYC Day 4: Digital Influencers Day

The Digital Influencers Day of the Smart Girls' Group conference was probably my favorite of the three days. The speakers were awesome and the breakout groups were great to pinpoint areas of my blog that I wanted to improve. It was really interesting to hear how much social media is used in businesses today and how what I'm doing with my blog can translate over into the workforce. For the breakout sessions I attended Social Media 101 and the Secrets of Sponsorships and boy, I realized how much I didn't know! It was such a cool learning experience and an awesome way to connect with other bloggers.
I had so much fun hanging out with my new blogger friends and meeting some accomplished bloggers I've been reading for a while like Carly and Krista. They were both so nice and excited to talk with readers (but probably not as excited as we were)! It was also too fun snapping (literally) hundreds of pictures outside the cutest townhouses in our accidentally color coordinated outfits- talk about aesthetic.

See my outfit post for this day here.

Stripes were clearly the move that day.

The cutest backpacks from Madeline & Company. (They launch the 31st!)

#SquadGoals, am I right?

After the conference, my mom and I popped into Ladurée right before it closed. The displays in the store were too cute and the macarons were the best I've ever tried.

For dinner, we walked a few blocks down to Orsay and ate outside on the cutest outdoor patio. I had the roasted chicken with the best mashed potatoes (no lumps!!).

After dinner we hopped in a cap and headed down to Bloomingdales to take advantage of an awesome sale before it ended in less than an hour. We were pretty much the last people in the store, but I got some great deals on a pair of Rayban Clubmasters and a Barbour raincoat ($100 off right now)!

Thanks for reading,
