Spring Break Recap
For spring break this year, I had the chance to go on a cruise with three of my friends and I thought it would be fun to share some pictures and what I did at each of the stops!
The Ship
Our cruise was a 6 night stay on the Carnival Conquest. This is one of the smaller ships Carnival offers, but there was still plenty to do. There were shows every night that we went to and during the day we hung out in the sun and ate (a lot). Having unlimited food available 24 hours a day sure is dangerous. I think I had two ice cream cones and a chocolate melting cake each day and I don't regret it at all.
While the room was small, it was still bigger than I had expected. Plus sharing a tiny room for a week sure was good practice for college next year :)
First stop: Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos
In Grand Turk, our group took a catamaran ride out to a reef and went snorkeling. I had never been snorkeling and this was the perfect place to do it since the water was so clear! The tour guides also threw some food out in the water to get the fish to come closer to the boat so we were able to get really close to them (not going to lie I freaked out whenever one brushed my leg)!
Second stop: Amber Cove, Dominican Republic
In the Dominican Republic we did another excursion that took us through the forest up to a river where we slid down and jumped off 12 different waterfalls. I was pretty nervous that I would get hurt or be too scared to go off the waterfalls but it ended up being my favorite part of the trip! It was so cool being able to see a part of the country other than what was at the port and to have a traditional Dominican meal afterwards.

Formal Dinner
We decided not to go all out and wear evening gowns for the formal night, but it was just as fun dressing up in our Lilly Dresses. Mine is from last year, but this one and this one are fun gold and white ones from this season!
Third stop: Half Moon Cay, Bahamas
We decided not to opt for an excursion at the last stop and just have time to relax. Half Moon Cay is privately operated by Carnival so it was nice to be able to hang out on a beach that wasn't so crowded. We enjoyed frozen drinks and hung out in the shade (my sunburn was already bad enough) and it was the perfect way to end our vacation.
To sum it up, I have never eaten so much, been more sunburnt, or seen bluer water in my life.
