Christmas in Chicago

Jacket // Scarf // Sweater (similar) // Jeans // Boots (on sale!) // Mittens (similar) // Purse

This year I spent Christmas in Chicago visiting my grandparents. I got my Portillo's fix (finally tried a chocolate cake shake, 10/10), saw the window displays at Macy's on State Street, and ate too much at Grandma's house. It's always fun to go downtown during the holidays to see all the decorations and take advantage of all the good sales. While we didn't end up buying anything, it was fun to be part of that pre-Christmas hustle and bustle. I wore my trusty Barbour jacket (dad got a matching one for Christmas :) and layered up. Luckily it warmed up and was in the 30s and 40s for our visit, but this North Carolina girl was still pretty cold walking around downtown.
I had a great time celebrating with family and hope all of y'all had a very merry Christmas!
