Holiday Tartan
Happy Thanksgiving y'all! This is the outfit I am wearing today for Thanksgiving dinner with my family. It's the perfect dressy but still comfy outfit (the shift style provides plenty of room to fill up on turkey and stuffing). When I saw this dress online I knew I had to have it: shift dress, black watch plaid, and ruffle sleeves! I kept my accessories simple with these nude colored flats and purse. I stuck with flats because I hate wearing heels (if you feel the same but need some height check out my post about my favorite heels for high-heel-haters). I added my new coat from J. Crew on top since I am visiting Chicago and it's quite a bit cooler here than at home in NC! I purchased this coat at the beginning of the season because I am headed on a trip to Europe this winter and it's going to be pretty cold!! I think this outfit would be perfect for any event coming up this holiday season!
I truly have so much to be thankful for each and every year and am so grateful for my family, friends and readers to name just a few!
