Spring Break Recap

I'm back to reality after a fun and relaxing spring break with my friends in St. Augustine. Four of my best friends from Elon and I headed down to Florida for the week to celebrate my friend Emily's birthday! We were lucky enough to rent a house right on the beach so we spent a lot of time out on the porch just reading and hanging out. We did end up wearing sweatshirts and blankets out on the beach because it was so windy, but it sure beat the weather back in NC and was the perfect way to take it easy for the week. When we came back to Elon on Saturday it was snowing and we were ready to hop back in the car and head back to Florida!

We walked around Flagler's campus after mass on Sunday. It's such a pretty campus and so different from Elon. See my outfit details in this blog post!

We ventured over to downtown St. Augustine for one afternoon and did some shopping and snacking over there after lunch at an awesome food truck, Crave. We strolled around the touristy areas and then popped over to some side streets and checked out some cute boutiques. My favorite was Declaration Clothing which had the cutest clothing, accessories, and gifts! My favorite spot for coffee was The Kookaburra Coffee on the island - I loved the iced Mocha Nut!

We celebrated Emily's birthday with dinner at the Ice Plant which is an old ice plant restored into a vintage restaurant and bar. Everything we ordered was so so good and they had so many fun mocktails.
