Fashion Forward Golf Attire

As I mentioned in my previous golf outfit post, golf has been a big part of my life for what seems like forever. After the state championships for school golf in October I stopped playing competitively and ultimately recreationally as well. It finally started to feel weird not practicing and playing every weekend and I am so glad I finally got back out on the course this summer. Finding cute and functional golf clothes has always been the biggest struggle. It seems like most golf skirts are geared toward older women making them on the longer side, leaving too-short tennis skirts as the only other option. Sydney Elizabeth created exactly what I had been looking for all these years. A cute, breathable, mid length skirt with pockets (I can't stress the pockets part enough)! They also recently added golf polos and popovers to their site which pair perfectly with the skorts. I can't say enough good things about Sydney Elizabeth's designs as they look great on and off the course!

Golf has definitely been gaining popularity recently especially with young adults (it's not just for old people!!!). If you want to pick up golf, it can definitely be kind of tricky (and frustrating) to get started. However, there are so many fun options for golf related fun for players of any level. Par 3 courses are a really fun way to get started playing or just a fun thing to do with friends! Par 3 courses are cool because they are in between mini golf and real golf. There are probably more than a few in your area and sometimes public driving ranges will have one! Another thing that I cannot wait to open in Charlotte is Top Golf. I had heard of it on social media but when I looked into it after hearing about it coming Charlotte it was even better than I thought it would be. It's an "entertainment complex" where you hit at targets and play against friends (and they have a great menu with chicken & waffles sliders). You know I'll be there the moment it opens :). A laid back setting with friends makes for a more fun (and less stressful) way to play golf!

Do any of y'all play golf?
What do you think of Sydney Elizabeth's designs?
